Imbibe the Spirit!

"I wanted only to try and live in accord with the longings of my true self. Why was that so very difficult?"

Hermann Hesse, Demian

Imbibe the Spirit”the slogan I’ve adopted for The House at Stone Head. What does it mean? The Spirit of Stone Head is reflected in the following list of activities to do while at Stone Head. People have asked me, “What is there to do at Stone Head?  Is there anything for my kids to do?” First, let me say that I hope the kid can still be found in all of us, but whether child or adult, Stone Head is not for everyone. Children having experienced nothing but structured activities organized by the competitive adult world may find themselves bored. Adults who look forward to experiencing the “reality” of a popular TV series probably won’t return. A stay at The House at Stone Head is best for those who choose to know, who choose to imbibe…those who embrace the spirit I encourage. They will come, finding new activities and feelings to add to The Many Reasons To Keep Coming Back List. I’ve always enjoyed the saying, “Everyone sees but few perceive.” Allow me to suggest some possibilities and see if you begin to get it. If you do, I invite you to come for a short visit amongst the beautiful hills and hollows of Brown County, filled with the spirit at Stone Head… the spirit of Life.

As host of The House at Stone Head I will welcome you and when you leave imbibed with the spirit, bid you farewell as a Friend of Stone Head forever!

So here it is… The World According to Stone Head:
