Many maps show the hamlet of Stone Head located southeast of Brown County State Park.
If coming from the north and driving south on I-65
- take the second
Columbus
exit, HW 46 exit (Columbus/Bloomington)
- drive west on HW46 toward
Nashville
for about 14 miles
- turn left (south) onto HW 135 South
- drive 5 miles until the road comes to a “T,” just past the elementary school. The House at Stone Head is straight ahead.
If coming from the south and driving north on I-65
- take the first Columbus exit, HW 46 west toward Nashville for about 14 miles
- Turn left (south) onto HW 135 South
- Drive 5 miles until the road comes to a “T,” just past the elementary school. The House at Stone Head is straight ahead.
If driving from the east side of
Indianapolis
- take I-65 south off I 465 to the second
Columbus
exit, HW 46 exit (Columbus/Bloomington)
- drive west on HW46 toward
Nashville
for about 14 miles
- turn left (south) onto HW 135 South
- drive 5 miles until the road comes to a “T,” just past the elementary school. The House at Stone Head is straight ahead.
If driving from the west side of
Indianapolis
- take HW 135 south. Drive through
Nashville
- turn left onto 46 east. Past the golf course
- turn right onto HW 135 South and continue for 5 miles until reaching Stone Head at the “T”
If driving from the west via
Bloomington
- turn right onto HW 46 after coming down the hill into
Nashville
- continue east and turn right onto HW 135 South. Drive 5 miles until finding Stone Head at the “T”
